Al Nasr Falls to Shabab Al Ahli in Round 24

Al Nasr suffered a 2-1 defeat against hosts Shabab Al Ahli in the match held last night at Rashid Stadium as part of Round 24 of the ADNOC Pro League.

Al Ameed opened the scoring through Spanish striker Ramon Mierez in the 28th minute, before Shabab Al Ahli equalized via Matheus Lima in the 39th minute. In dramatic fashion, Yuri Cesar scored the winning goal for the hosts from the penalty spot in the 90th minute.

Following this result, Al Nasr remains on 34 points in sixth place in the ADNOC Pro League standings.
