Two legal lectures at Al Nasr Club during the course of developing football companies' capabilities week

Two legal lectures were held at Al Nasr Club as part of the Week of Developing the Capacity of Football Companies in Dubai Clubs, in the presence of representatives of the Dubai Sports Council, Dubai Clubs, and the staff at Al Nasr Football Company.

The first lecture, "Characteristics of Professional Sports Contracts," was given by Dr. Abdul Razzaq Siflou, legal counsel for Al-Nasr Club. In which  he discussed covered the features of professional players' employment contracts, permanent transfer contracts, and loan contracts from a legal perspective, their nature and conditions, duration, and impact, the obligations of the two contracting parties (the player and the club), as well as the minimum and maximum  limit of both contract period and salary of the professional player in the club, and the regulations and laws related to them .

The second lecture was given by Ms. Hamda Al Shamsi, Acting Director of the Legal Affairs Division at the UAE Football Association, and was titled "The Most Important Amendments to Loan Contracts." ,in which She went over the most recent updates and changes made to the player loan regulations by the International Federation of Association football , as the new regulatory framework will include the following:

Having  two contracts, the first between the former club and the new club, specifying the terms of the loan, specifically the duration of the loan and the financial terms, and the player may be a part of it, and the second is between the player and his new club and confirms that the player is on loan, and the maximum loan period is one year.

The loan period may be extended for an additional period if all parties agree to it, ending the loan period and its conditions, preventing the loaning of a player to a third club, and restrictions on the number of loaned players, as the number will be according to the new amendments 7 players, and it is allowed to loan a maximum of 3 players to one club, and borrow a maximum of 3 players from one club at any time during the season.

At the end of the workshop, which was supervised by Mr. Adel Al-Bannai, Director of the Football Companies Department at the Dubai Sports Council, the attendees discussed the relevant legal issues, as well as presented a number of  regulations development proposals .
