Media training for football first team and academy players at Al Nasr club

Within the requirements of club licensing, and with the aim of raising players’ awareness of the importance of the media in the lives of athletes, Al Nasr Football Company organized a media training for the players of the first team, the under 21 team, and under 14,15,16 and 18 years teams .The training was conducted by the journalist Lutfi Al Zoabi .

The training focused on defining  media , and explaining the positive side of the media in the lives of football players, and the need to always keep a smile and a good appearance. The caveats of media interviews were also explained, and how to correctly answer the questions during meetings and press conferences. Skills of dealing with the camera and conducting Interviews, and the best ways to conduct a successful radio or television interview were explained.

The lecturer also talked about the players' obligations with regard to the media aspect in terms of adherence to the club's strategy in communicating with fans, and positive presence on social media, and the caveats related to its use. In addition to  their duties when traveling  abroad with the club or the national team, and the need to always show a positive image, and the responsibilities of foreign players towards the club and the state, and their role in building bridges of communication with their communities, and building relationships of love and respect between them and the club, the need to respond to interviews and attend press conferences upon request, as  it is linked to the interest of the club and the player.

The training included a practical aspect, where discussions and exercises were conducted on interviews, dealing with the media, and journalists questions.
