Dutchman Alfred Schroeder is the new coach of Al Nasr

Al-Nasr Football Company announced the hiring of Dutch coach Alfred Schreuder to take over the task of coaching the first team.

The Dutch former midfielder has a rich career on the football field. He began his professional career in Feyenoord, and played for the clubs RKC Waalwijk, NAC Breda, FC Twente Enschede and Vitesse Arnhem.

In 2013, he entered the world of coaching, where he was appointed coach of the Dutch team Twente from 2014-2015, and coach of the German Hoffenheim from 2019 to 2020, and then moved to Spanish powerhouse Barcelona from 2020-2021, and took over the coach of the Belgian Club Brugge in 2022, and returned to the Netherlands to coach Ajax Amsterdam in 2022, and he went through training in the Emirates through the Al Ain Club portal in 2023 before training the Al-Nasr team.

During his coaching career, Schroeder achieved many titles, winning the Spanish Cup once with Barcelona, ​​the Dutch Cup twice with Ajax and FC Twente Enschede, the Dutch Super Cup twice with FC Twente Enschede, the Dutch League twice with Ajax and FC Twente Enschede, and the Belgian League once with Club Brugge, and will have his second coaching experience in the UAE League with Al-Nasr Club.
