Al-Nasr's Victory over Al-Ain in the Second Leg of ADIB Cup Quarterfinals

In the second leg of the Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank Cup quarterfinals, held at Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium, AlNasr defeated Al Ain with a score of 2-1.

Al-Nasr started the match with the following lineup: Abdulla Al Tamimi, Khaled Jalal, Hamdan Al Kamali, Saud Abdulrazzaq, Ahmed Rashid, Mayed Al-Teneiji, Bogdan Petrovic, Moussa Ndiaye, Abdulla Anwar, Rashed Omar, Ali Abdulaziz.

The game began with Al-Nasr attempting to score, with Abdulla Anwar taking a powerful shot in the 4th minute, and almost breaking through the goalkeeper's defence in the 6th minute, but luck was not on his side. Al Nasr continued their offensive efforts throughout the first half, and substitute Issac Tshikuna, who came in for Abdulla Anwar, managed to open the scoring for Al Ain in the 41st minute after a pass from Saud Abdulrazzaq .

In the second half, Al-Nassr's coach Alfred Schroeder made tactical substitutions, bringing in Evans Ampofo, Abdulaziz Sanqour, Mohamed Jamal, and Obeid Salem, replacing Khaled Jalal, Maed Al Teneiji, Moussa Ndiaye, and Saud Abdulrazzaq.

Al-Nasr maintained their pressure on Al Ain from the beginning of the second half, with Saud Abdulrazzaq taking a powerful shot in the 55th minute, but luck was not on his side in scoring. Ali Abdulaziz almost scored the second goal for Al-Nasr in the 56th minute after a pass from Bogdan Petrovic, and came close to scoring in the 64th minute, but luck was not on his side.

Al-Ain scored the equalizer in the 87th minute through Alejandro Romero, but Al-Nasr responded with a goal from Rashid Omar with a powerful shot from outside the penalty area in the 92nd minute. The match ended with Al-Nassr winning 2-1. However, Al-Ain advanced to the semi-finals benefiting from their victory in the first leg with a score of 2-0.
