Al Nasr Sport Club hosts the Dubai Super Cup 2022

Today, Tuesday , In the presence  of a large media representatives , a press conference was held at the Al-Nasr Sports Club headquarters to announce the launch of the "Dubai Super Cup 2022" competition, which will be played at Al-Maktoum Stadium in Al-Nasr Club from 8 to 16 December.

The tournament is held under the generous patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council of the emirate.

The conference was held in the presence of His Excellency Marwan bin Ghalaita, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Nasr Sports Club, His Excellency Saeed Hareb, Secretary General of Dubai Sporst council , His Excellency Ahmed Hashim Khoury, Chairman of A MH Sports, the organizer of the tournament, and a large number of club officials and employees.

Four prominent European clubs were confirmed to attend the conference: Liverpool,  6-time European Champions League winners ; Arsenal, the 14-time FA Cup winners ; AC Milan, the 7-time European Champions League winners ; and Olympique Lyonnais,  8-time winners of  French Cup . With the exception of those taking part in the World Cup, all four teams'  will compete against one another in a special sporting event that helps to elevate Dubai's position as a major sports hub.

Marwan bin Ghalaita, the chairman of the board of directors of Al-Nasr Sports Club, spoke on this occasion at the press conference. He said :"Based on the directives of the club's president, Sheikh Rashid bin Hamdan, all logistical, technical and administrative capabilities were harnessed for the success of the tournament. We are proud that the matches of this tournament will be held at Al Maktoum Stadium in Al Nasr Club, which is an architectural and sporting masterpiece, and is fully qualified to host matches of the size of these teams that enjoy a large audience.It has previously hosted international matches in the 2019 Asian Cup and the World Cup qualifiers, and other matches .The fans of the teams participating in the tournament will find a warm welcome from the qualified staff to host such large events that bring them pleasure and happiness, and we hope that they will enjoy this important sporting event ''.

In turn, His Excellency Syed Saeed Hareb, Secretary General of the Dubai Sports Council, thanked the Board of Directors of Al Nasr Club for hosting this great event, and expressed his hope that this hosting would be a pillar in the winter sports scene, contributing to strengthening Dubai's position as a destination for international teams to visit during the winter period, and to compete in competitive matches.

Form his part, Mr. Ahmed Khoury, President of AMH Sports, appreciated Al Nasr Club hosting this great tournament, which is an exceptional event in world football as it represents an addition to the global sports scene, and in the UAE too,  highlighting that it will be a chance for the supporters of the participating clubs and supporters of football both inside and outside the nation to have an exceptional and enjoyable experience.
