Al Nasr outrun Al Dahfra by four goals

Al Nasr outrun Al-Dhafra 4-1 in the Group B match held at the Maktoum Bin Rashid Stadium in the second round of the Arabian Gulf Cup.

Al Nasr entered the match with high morale, leading the Group B to secure the quarter-finals place after winning four games, Mohamed Ibrahim Al Jassmi scored the first goal with a powerful shot in the fourth minute, Al Dhafra leveled in the 8th minute as Diego Rigonato managed to equalize the score.

In the 18th minute,  Samuel Rosa retake the lead for Al Nasr as Salem Saleh's shot defelected off the Brazilian into the back of the net to make it 2-1. 

In the 31st minute, Jovanovic subsituated Khalid Jalal as an alternative to Mohamed Abdel Aziz. Al Nasr players were active and had many opportunities to settle the match with a good number of goals but the first half with a 2-1 lead. 

Jovanovic began the second half with the addidtion of Rashid Omar substitute for Maher, to continue more pressure and dominate the game significantly and threatened Al Dhafra goal more than once, resulting in Habib Al Fardan awarded a penalty in the 55th minute and played it brilliantly scoring the third goal for Al Nasr , Jovanovic replaced Ali Hussein with substitute to Ibrahim Jassmi in the 65th minute. In the 72nd minute Habib Al-Fardan gave a brilliant ball to Salim Saleh, which almost added the fourth goal but it touched the post and returned back, five minutes before the end of the game in 85th minute Habib Al Fardan scored a fourth goal on a great pass from Rosa to confirm Al Nasr's continuity in acquring positive results.

Adel Al Naqbi announced the end of the match after 4 minutes in injury time.
