Al Nasr loses to Sharjah in ADNOC Pro League

In the 20th round of the ADNOC, Al Nasr lost to Sharjah 2-0 at Al Maktoum Stadium.

Al-Nasr entered the match with the following squad: Ahmed Shambih, Tariq Ahmed, Rayan Mendez, Dia Sabaa, Wesley Braga, Tozi, Glaubert Lima, Hussain Mohdi ,Rashed Omar, Abdullah Abbas, Mohamed Abdel Rahman

Al-Nasr started the match strongly and put high pressure on the Sharjah players in an attempt to open the scoring, and the movements of Ryan Mendes and Tozi were a source of danger to the Sharjah defense, but luck was not in their side, and in  minute43, Bernard Durate scored a goal in favor of Sharjah.

At the beginning of the second half, Mr. Salem Rabie made a substitution, which started with Mahdi Obaid replacing Tariq Ahmed.

In the 52nd minute, Sharjah scored a goal that was canceled after checking the VAR.

Al Nasr players tried to score, and rushed towards the Sharjah goal, and they had many unsuccessful attempts, and in the 69th minute Marcos Vinicius scored the second goal in favor of Sharjah, and the referee awarded a penalty kick to Sharjah, which goalkeeper Ahmed Shambeh successfully saved.

Mr. Obaid made tactical changes as  Jean-Claude Wesley Braga’s place, Rashid Salem in the place of Hussein Mahdi, Abdullah Anwar as a substitute for Diaa Al-Saba.
Al-Nasr players continued their attempts to amend the result, reaching the Sharjah goal, but luck stubbornly stood in the face of their repeated attempts, and in overtime, goalkeeper Shambeh saved two penalty kicks in favor of Sharjah.
