Al Nasr deliver a strong performance in Al Shamkha and earn a valuable win

 Al Nasr continued their positive run in the ADNOC Pro League, returning from Al Shamkha with an important 2-1 win over Bani Yas in the eleventh round of the competition.

Al Ameed took the lead through Jonatas Santos, who produced an individual effort and finished with a powerful shot to the right of the home goalkeeper in the 18th minute. Ramon Mierez then restored Al Nasr’s advantage with an excellent header following a cross from Mehdi Ghaedi in the 31st minute.

The final minutes of the first half saw an outstanding performance from goalkeeper Abdullah Al Tamimi, who brilliantly saved a penalty after the decision was reviewed using VAR.

With this victory, Al Nasr raised their tally to 18 points and moved up to fifth place, while Bani Yas remained on 7 points in eleventh position.
