Al Nasr beats Sharjah and earns three valuable points in the AGL

Al Nasr grabbed three valuable points after beating Sharjah 2-1 scored by striker Tigali in the match held on Sunday evening at Al Maktoum Stadium in the 19th round of the Arabian Gulf League, bringing Al Nasr's score to 36 points and fourth place in the standings table.

Al Nasr started the match with more activity and a desire to open the scoring, and players were able to impose their control over the course in the middle of the field and began to attack to score the goal of progress, but the brilliance of Adel Al Hosani, the Sharjah goalkeeper prevented that, as he was able to deal with more than a dangerous ball, in the 9th minute  Ryan Mendes penetrated into the penalty area and shooted a dangerous cross but the goalkeeper turned it outside.

In the 29th minute, Mahmoud Khamis crossed the ball inside the area towards Tigali with his head, but it went over the crossbar, the referee calculated a free direct kick to Al Nasr in the 36th minute, Mahmoud Khamis fired it with all strength, but the goalkeeper turned it outside, and two minutes later, Diaa fired shot from outside the penalty area but the goalkeeper cleared it to a corner kick, and in the 46th minute, Tigali scored the goal of progressing for Al Nasr after he followed the rebound ball from the goalkeeper on a shot from a direct free kick.

Al Nasr tried to boost the result with a second goal at the start of the second half, Diaa Sabaa passed a perfect cross inside the area, which Tigali met with a direct shot, but it overcame the crossbar in the 48th minute, and a minute later Sharjah almost equaled the result with a ground shot from Chukorov, but it collided with the post before it hit Shambih and turned for a corner kick, Diaa Saba returned to fire his powerful shots from outside the area in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to convert it to a corner kick.

Sharjah equalized the result in the 60th minute through Saif Rashid, who turned his teammate Cornado's cross into the net, scoring the team's only goal in the game, and four minutes later Tigali raised the result by scoring the second goal for Al Nasr after receiving Mendes's brilliant cross with a straight shot in the Sharjah net.
