Al Nasr’s hat-trick leads Al Ameed to a tough away victory over Al Bataeh

Al Nasr achieved an exciting victory over hosts Al Bataeh with a 3-2 result in the match that brought the two teams together on Sunday evening at Khalid bin Mohammed Stadium, as part of the ninth round of the ADNOC Pro League.

Al Ameed’s goals were scored by Mehdi Ghaedi (two goals) and Cheickna Doumbia in the 90th minute of the second half. With this victory, Al Nasr raised its tally to 14 points, moving up to sixth place in the league standings.

In the 34th minute, the referee showed a red card to Al Bataeh goalkeeper Ibrahim Issa after he brought down an Al Nasr attacker. The substitute goalkeeper then saved a dangerous set-piece from our player Luca in the 38th minute.

Al Nasr imposed its control in the following minutes, and Mehdi Ghaedi managed to open the scoring with a brilliant technical touch after a decisive assist, netting the first goal in first-half stoppage time.

At the start of the second half, Al Nasr did not take long to respond after the hosts’ equalizer, as Mehdi Ghaedi quickly restored the lead with a powerful left-footed shot in the 73rd minute. In the final moments of the match, substitute Doumbia succeeded in tipping the balance in Al Ameed’s favor by scoring the third goal.
