Al Ameed seals the win and secures a place in the semifinals

Al Nasr secured their place in the semifinals of the Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank Cup after a thrilling win over Shabab Al Ahli on penalties, 3–2, in the match played today at Al Maktoum Stadium, following a 3–2 result in regular time.

This marks Al Nasr’s sixth qualification to the semifinals, where they will face the winner of the Sharjah vs. Al Ain matchup.

The match saw an outstanding performance from Mehdi Ghaedi, who opened the scoring in the 13th minute with a powerful strike from inside the box, before adding a second goal in the final minute of the first half with a skillful chip over the Shabab Al Ahli goalkeeper.

Abdullah Toure scored Al Nasr’s third goal in the 61st minute with a precise finish inside the area, confirming the team’s superiority in one of the most exciting matches of the season.

After regular time ended, the game went to penalties, where Al Nasr goalkeeper Ahmed Shambieh excelled, saving two penalty kicks to secure the team’s place in the semifinals.
